Mathematics was never just a subject for Athavale Sir — it was a calling. From the moment he completed his post-graduation in Mathematics, his heart was set on one purpose: teaching.

He spent 20 distinguished years as a faculty member at Modern College, Pune, shaping the mathematical foundations of hundreds of BSc students. But he saw a deeper need — students required stronger fundamentals before they could truly flourish. That conviction led him to found Athavale Classes.

What began with just 5 students grew steadily into a thriving institution of nearly 1,000 students — a testament to his dedication, clarity of teaching, and genuine love for the subject.
